Intro to Programming Concepts
This course is designed for students who have little or no programming experience in any language. Students should know how to create a simple Web page using HTML and be able to store and retrieve files on their computers. Although students will write programs using JavaScript, the major focus of the course will be the basic programming concepts that are used by almost all programming languages.

Web Authoring Certificate:Intro to XHTML
This course is designed for students who have little or no experience with using a plain text editor to code Web pages. Students should have a background in surfing the Internet using a browser and managing the storage and retrieval of files. You will develop a website compliant with Transitional XHTML standards. Topics include: text-formatting, display of images, hypertext links, lists, tables, beginning Cascading Style Sheet Formats, FTP uploading of website files to a server. Members $245 non credit/$845 credit
