WashTech instructors share our commitment to worker-centered high-tech training:
"What can I do for other union members? Well, sharing what I know is one thing," said John Yu, an instructor of our C++ classes. "It's unfortunate that our current economic system is such that people with similar skills compete with one another, but I want that to change...Giving information away does not make me suddenly have less information. It disappoints me that we have somehow managed to construct an economy in which people are paid to prevent other people from using information. Ideally, the economy should be structured in such a way that having more people who know each other's skills just means everybody has to work less and will have more time to simply relax."
